Our Founder: Elijah De La Cruz

Elijah De La Cruz stands as the resilient leader and visionary behind EDG Entities. As a former paratrooper in the U.S. Armed Forces, Elijah’s military service was marked by dedication, honor, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Over his four years of active duty, he not only embraced the demanding challenges of service but also earned distinction through achievements like the highly respected Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP) certification. In addition, his perfect 50/50 score on the marksman qualification day remains a lasting testament to his precision and discipline.

When medical retirement necessitated a shift from his promising military career, Elijah saw this as the start of a new mission. Driven by a deep commitment to service, he founded EDG Entities to bring his military ethos into the civilian realm, leveraging his leadership and operational skills to support federal government operations—particularly those benefiting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Elijah’s background in government contracting and construction projects uniquely equips him to lead EDG Entities with expertise in navigating stringent regulations and delivering high-quality results. Overseeing project lifecycles from planning and procurement to execution, Elijah ensures that each project meets timelines, budgets, and quality standards. His military experience has refined his skills in strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving—all vital for successful project management. Committed to safety, Elijah has implemented OSHA safety standards and protocols, holding several OSHA certifications, including the OSHA 30-Hour Certification, to guarantee a safe environment for all team members and contractors.

Under Elijah’s leadership, EDG Entities has grown into a formidable force in government contracting and construction, embodying the values that marked his military career: resilience, excellence, and unwavering dedication. Through each contract and project, he ensures that the sacrifices of America’s heroes are honored and supported, exemplifying the highest ideals of American service, dedication, and commitment to quality.
